Vul. Valova, 11 – residential building ID: 986

It was built in the Art Nouveau style with elements of Neo-Gothic architecture. It is a five-story, brick, plastered building with a high mansard roof made of red tiles. The interior layout is sectional. The composition of the main facade is symmetrical, with three breaks finished with triangular pediments. On the second floor, three balconies with molded stylized Gothic railings protrude from the plane of the facade, the central one decorated on the sides with sculptural figures of medieval knights, which play the role of independent plastic accents. The knights' shields bear the heraldic emblems of Western and Eastern Galicia, Volhynia, and the coat of arms of Lviv. The first floor is decorated with linear decorative rustication, while the rest are highlighted with light linear rustication. The windows of the third floor of the central part have stylized Gothic frames with rosettes, and the windows of the fourth and fifth floors have similar frames. Under the windows of the third floor, there are molded Gothic inserts, and above the windows of the fourth floor, there are also molded Gothic inserts, finished at the top with linear cornices covered with red tiles. The building is covered with a red tile roof.

The building is a typical example of a public building of the early 20th century with features of the European architectural school.
